Penny Heath has been in the portrait business for over 25 years and is always willing to share her knowledge of the industry with other photographers. In these behind the scene pictures from a senior photo session, we see Renee Bartlett - Patterson an aspiring photographer from Clayton assisting with holding props and reflectors.
Here is what Renee has to say about her experiences here at Heath Photography:
"I was researching photographers in the area and came across Heath Photography. I have seen Penny's work on her website and facbook, and I watched a short clip on youtube of a baby being photographed while hanging in a large scarf, and was impressed on how they accomplished it without waking the baby! I was given the opportunity by Penny to intern and learn about portrait photography. I have assisted setting up and adjusting lighting and backdrops for the specific shoot. It has been interesting learning the different posses for a senior, family or a baby shoot. I enjoy doing outdoor portraits in the summer and learning how to diffuse or reflect the light with a reflector. Penny is a talented photographer that I learn from everyday."
