A few weeks ago, I planned a trip to take my husband, his mom and dad, and our son Logan to the ocean, as a thank-you to them for all the work they did when we were building our house. Gene spent a year on the project, if not longer. His mom and dad were always helping, too, diligently painting and doing other work. I knew Gene would really like going on a fishing trip-- and when I invited his mom and dad, they said to count them in. At Vinalhaven Island; we got to go lobster-fishing with a seventh-generation lobsterman (our sternman was named Landon). Our hosts with the most, who rented us a cabin, were Charlie and Rusty Warren. Everybody had a blast! All of us just really enjoyed ourselves. Here are a couple of videos and photos.
